Weatherization Careers

We are currently looking for the following staff for immediate hire at American Building Technologies:

• Crew Chiefs

• We are looking for someone to work with one of our three crews and learn the trade well in order to become a crew chief. The crew chief's responsibility is to run the jobs efficiently and in a timely fashion. He/She will interface with the customer at the beginning of the job and at the end in order to fill out the relevant rebate paperwork. The crew chief will be able to motivate the crew and participate in all phases of the project. A crew chief will be the problem solver for the ABT team at each project.

• Sales Person
• We are looking for someone to work with one of our three crews and learn the trade for a few weeks. Once well-acquainted with the trade, this person would accompany one of the two partners on estimates to understand the general questions asked of our customers before going out in the field by his or herself.
  

• Weatherization Technicians
• We are looking for several general construction laborers to learn the trade and join our three crews. Qualified candidates will have experience in carpentry and have a good work ethic. Experience in plumbing and electricity are a definite asset.
